ORUA BEACH HOUSE, hahei nz / JULY 2021

When Jess and Dylan first emailed me there were so many reasons to be excited to photograph their wedding day - 1, I was married myself at Orua Beach house in 2018 so any opportunity to return is quite exciting! 2, I photographed the wedding of Jess & Dylan's friends a few years before so there were many familiar faces to catch up with! But most of all, after meeting with them I could tell that these two were people I wanted to be around. I just got that vibe from meeting them - they both smiled non stop and oozed a sense of fun and kindness.

Fast forward to the BIG day. It was the most miserable weather! But honestly that was not going to stop these two from having the best day!

We made use of the Twelve Tables reception marquee for some pre ceremony portraits and also braved the rain with some umbrellas for a few too.

Luckily Orua Beach house had just finished building their indoor rumpus room area which was the perfect cozy location for the ceremony.

Jess & Dylan have impeccable taste, and everything just came together so brilliantly!

A wedding to remember for sure, thanks so much for having me Jess & Dylan. x
